Harbour House
A waterfront hotel refurbishment, phased so the hotel never closed: lobby and reception, a cocktail bar, banquette seating and a joinery series for 64 rooms. Hotel, client and figures are fictional; they illustrate how we run a project.

The owners wanted a warmer, more local character: smoked oak, terrazzo from regional aggregate, green velvet and brushed brass. Their interior architect had completed design intent drawings. The constraint: the hotel had to stay open, with no more than eight rooms out of service at a time.
Our role: engineering, shop drawings, mock-ups, production and installation of all fixed joinery, coordinated with the hotel's own contractors for electrical and flooring work.
Three phases around a live hotel.
Indicative programme as presented in this demonstration. Durations are illustrative and depend on scope, approvals and building access.
Mock-up room first
One complete room was built and photographed before series production. The headboard height and wardrobe door swing changed at this stage.
Overnight bar swap
The back bar was installed first behind a screen; the front bar went in across two nights while service moved to a temporary counter.
Numbered room packs
Each room's joinery left the workshop as a numbered pack, so a room could be fitted and handed back within the agreed window.
