Concept project · Interiors and fit-out
Atelier Vaart
An editorial website for a hospitality fit-out workshop that turns style and material choices into a structured brief.
Concept · fictional company

The commercial question
Hotel and restaurant owners buy bespoke interiors under pressure: a fixed opening date, a design they want built exactly and finishes that must survive daily service. Most fit-out websites show attractive photos but leave buyers guessing about scope, process and timing. The challenge was to make a high-end workshop feel tangible and predictable before the first meeting.
Who it is for
Hotel and restaurant owners, hospitality groups, developers and their interior architects. Decisions are shared between the owner or operations director, the developer's project manager and the interior architect.

Design choices
- Editorial, spacious layout led by large interior photography, with a classic top navigation and one clear call to action: start a briefing
- Newsreader headings with DM Sans text on off-white, deep ink and a single warm bronze accent
- Materials library presented as a premium sample library: CSS-drawn swatches on cards with use, care and wear notes
- The interior briefing as a calm product experience: clear steps, large fields, mood board and indicative phase plan
- Own line drawings of bars, banquettes, panelling, reception desks and room joinery, used only inside the content

What the design is meant to do
This concept is designed to make a bespoke workshop feel concrete before the first conversation and to bring in briefs that are ready for an intake. The company, projects and figures are fictional.
Concept project by FOR3. The company, people, projects and figures are fictional, and no results are claimed. Forms on the concept site are demonstrations: nothing is sent or stored.
