Solution

Know what your marketing delivers.

Marketing attribution is linking enquiries and contracts back to the channels that produced them. Separate dashboards each claim their own success. We connect visits, enquiries, proposals and contracts in one chain, state which attribution rule we use, and keep what we measure apart from what we attribute.

Sound familiar?

  1. Every channel reports its own success.
  2. Nobody can say which campaign produced a contract.
  3. Numbers live in five tools and a spreadsheet.
  4. Platforms report more conversions than you receive enquiries.

The measurement chain

We only measure after visitor consent and never send personal data to analytics services. Enquiries and contracts come from FOR3 OS.

Attribution models in plain terms

First-touch credits the channel that brought someone in first. Last-touch credits the last channel before the enquiry. Multi-touch models spread credit across several steps; data-driven models let an algorithm decide. Each is a choice, not a fact. For businesses with a modest number of enquiries, a simple, stated rule is usually more useful than a complex model nobody can explain.

What we do in practice

We record the source of the visit in which an enquiry was made, for visitors who consented, and follow that enquiry through to proposal and contract in FOR3 OS. Platform figures (Google, Meta) are shown next to it, labelled as their own attribution.

Three kinds of results

01

Measured

What we observe directly: visits, enquiries, contracts.

02

Attributed

What we link to a channel, with an explanation of how.

03

Not measurable

What counts but doesn't fit a number, such as a referral.

You receive

  • Measurement plan and setup (GA4, Search Console, conversions)
  • Source tracking per enquiry
  • One view from visit to contract in FOR3 OS
  • A stated attribution rule, explained in the report
  • Monthly commentary within a programme

What we do

  • State which attribution rule we use
  • Keep platform figures and real enquiries apart

What we don't promise

  • Complete attribution across every channel
  • Measuring visitors without consent

Frequently asked questions

Which attribution model should I use?

Start simple: the source of the visit in which the enquiry was made, stated clearly. Add complexity only when you have enough data to support it.

Does this work with my current website?

Usually. If the site allows it, we add measurement and forms without a rebuild.

What if visitors don't consent?

Then we don't measure their visit. Their enquiry still arrives, just without a link to the visit.
